Educational Philosophy

I believe that young children learn best through hands-on exploration, meaningful interactions, and play-based experiences that reflect their natural curiosity. Rooted in constructivist theory, my approach to teaching emphasizes developmentally appropriate practices that nurture growth across all domains—cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language. I am deeply committed to inclusive education, where every child, regardless of ability, is supported in a least restrictive environment through intentional adaptations and collaborative teamwork. My experience working with children with disabilities has shown me the power of assistive technology and peer interaction in promoting equitable learning opportunities. I view ongoing observation, authentic assessment, and family engagement as essential tools for guiding instruction and building culturally responsive classroom communities. At the heart of my philosophy is the belief that strong relationships—with children, families, and fellow educators—are the foundation for lifelong learning and advocacy.
